Archway Youth Workshop

Archway Theatre Youth Workshops run during term time and cater for children and young people from 6 years to 16, while the Young Adults group caters for 16+.

Workshops for the youngest (6- 8years) use games and activities to introduce children to drama, focussing on building up their confidence and communication skills.
In the 9- 12 yrs groups, children experience all aspects of drama and theatre, such as improvisation, script work, mime and characterisation.

This is extended and developed in the 13- 16 yrs group.The Young Adult group develop and extend their own areas of interest. The workshop stage a main house production in June , and the Studio Theatre now offers opportunity for other performances. Our Workshoppers regularly take roles in Main House productions and are an integral part of The Archway.
