Archway Youth Workshop - 15th Birthday
The Youth Workshop was started in 1992 by Sarah Bloomfield, it was then taken over by Gary Andrews in 1993 and then by Eddie and Jacquie Redfern in 1996. Over the years, we have had hundreds of members, many of which have continuted on to full members of the Archway Theatre. Past members of the Youth Workshop are involved in many main productions and in the management of the Theatre today.
Every year, the Youth Workshop has produced and performed a show. These are performed in the main Theatre over 3 nights. Many of the productions have been completely written and performed by Youth Workshop members and leaders. Workshop members are usually in full control of most aspects of the shows, on stage, back sage, front of house and technical.
Today we now have 4 Youth Workshops for different ages run by Eddie and Jacquie Redfern and Rachel Clarke, and 1 Young Adults Workshop run by Gary Andrews.
