"All the world's a stage, and all the men and women merely players: they have their exits and their entrances; and one man in his time plays many parts, his acts being seven ages."

John Herbert
Rest In Peace

It is with great sadness, I announce that John died on Tuesday 19th June 2007 after a relatively short illness.
John was a member of our theatre for over 23 years and in that time touched so many hearts. During John’s membership he managed to support virtually every department; not only was John our forever friendly Bar Manager, he was always on hand to assist backstage, light and do sound for our productions, greatly assisted with our expansion plans and of course proved to be an excellent photographer. In more recent years he was even seen treading the boards, even if his audience was rather select!

John’s total commitment, dedication and outstanding contribution over the years have given us many memories which we will never forget. His death will leave a large hole within our unique family and he will be greatly missed by us all.

Whilst words are so inadequate at this time, I have spoken with Ann, and on behalf of the Theatre and the Council of Management expressed our deep sadness and sent our warmest condolences, thoughts and prayers to Ann and John’s family.
