Percy is a little green engine whose talent was first discovered way back in June 1994 during The Secret Rapture.He normally helps back stage and often goes missing causing great distress to everybody involved. He has even appeared on wanted posters!
Percy is very selective about who he works with and when it is cold he has a winter jacket to put on. Listed below are some of his more memorable productions.
During the 2001 pantomime, Peter Pan, Percy did a disappearing act. He was feared really lost by everyone involved. Wanted posters were put up around the Theatre, and a large scale search was mounted. This involved properties in the Copthorne area and routes to and from the Theatre. His last known movements were retraced on the hunt for clues. After about a three weeks, the search was scaled down and a stand-by was obtained to keep the stage crew amused during the second week of the run.
Suddenly one night, much to everyone's surprise, Cecco, an Italian Pirate, found a little green object lurking in his money pouch..., after a short recovery period, Percy was reunited with his friends. The mystery still continues concerning how he got to be in the pouch in the first place. The short term memory of the SM was in question... !!!
