Gary Andrews

Gary joined the Archway in 1991, attracted by the fact that they were
serious about Shakespeare a passion of his. Over the years he has played
some wonderful characters and made some fabulous friends, not the least of
which is his wife Joy! They were married in 2004 and had their evening
reception in the (pre-conversion) function room arch. These days, apart
from acting and directing, Gary designs all the play posters, is a regular
set designer and make-up artist/advisor and runs the Young Adults Workshop.
He is also the company fight arranger, something that harks back to his time
when he used to perform as part of a stunt team. In the real world, Gary is
an illustrator, cartoonist and animation director. He also runs a video
production company with Joy and they have a daughter, Lily.
