A viciously funny, disturbing black comedy about a
writer in a totalitarian state who is interrogated about the
content of his short stories and their similarities to a
number of child murders occurring in his town. This play
premièred at the National Theatre, in 2003 with Jim
Broadbent & received the 2004 Olivier Award for Best
New Play.
