The Paper Crown

England is stuck in a foreign war it was coerced into. Back home, the politicians are in a leadership struggle and the royal family have all kinds of marital problems. This modern dress production of Shakespeare’s play, set during the Wars of the Roses, goes to show that nothing really changes as we watch the crown change hands like a child’s toy and the rise to power of a certain hunchbacked future king.
