Semi Detached
by David Turner

Semi-Detached is a huge piece of fun - not to be taken seriously - a satire in the classical tradition, depicting the ambitious snobbery of a working class family trying to better themselves and progress up the social ladder.
First performed in 1962 with Leonard Rossiter in the lead role of a loveable character, Fred Midway, later played in the West End by Laurence Olivier, and recently revived with great success by the Chichester Festival Theatre.
Our cast is headed by Mike Park, a brilliant comic actor, aided and abetted by his faithful and adoring wife played by Carol Hall, another great comedienne. We have Scott Robson who has recently graduated from the Youth Workshop. Look out for Jan Sparkes, Mandy Humphrey, Nick Winford, Steve Ollis, Tony Godden and Liz Reid, old and new friends.
Find out if Fred can solve the crisis of the love lives of his three children without losing face. Can he do it? Join us for a relaxing evening and find out.
