Theatre Company Membership
The Archway Theatre Company is the group which is responsible for day-to-day running of the theatre and putting on the shows. Members of the company can participate on-stage, backstage or as house management - or any combination - depending on personal interests and abilities. As a company member, you are entitled to all the benefits of a club member, plus ability to serve on the various committees which provide the administration of the theatre (elected annually by company members).
Tickets to the shows may only be purchased by members, and we have a limit of four tickets per member. Special arrangements can occasionally be made if group bookings are required, though this will depend on seat availability since other members will be considered first.
If you don't want to be involved in the productions, either on stage or backstage, you should consider becoming a club member.
Membership Details
The current cost of company membership is £25 per annum. This gives you the following benefits:
- Ability to participate in productions
- Ten newsletters, announcing details of the forthcoming productions and social events, with "Archways" - the company newsletter, in addition to club information
- Ability to purchase up to four tickets for you and guests for each production
- Ability to make advance bookings and automatic repeated bookings up to a year ahead
- Purchase of alcoholic beverages from the members' bar, which opens during productions and regularly on Tuesday and Thursday evenings
- Participation in company social events and club social events
- Optional entry into the Sponsor's Club, which for an additional payment may result in a cash prize in the regular monthly draw
